Yogasing

The YogaSing program is a new approach to the ancient art of yoga. I developed the YogaSing Method 10 years ago to introduce singers to their whole body through yoga techniques.

From the first yoga class I attended, I knew that yoga would

play an important part in my life and performing career and I wanted to share this newfound knowledge with others. I embarked on my own yoga journey, became a certified yoga instructor and applied the techniques learned in my voice studio and while performing with the Washington National Opera at the Kennedy Center. By combining my skills as a singer and yoga instructor, I created a series of gentle, invigorating poses to tone and strengthen each muscle group, increase flexibility and lung capacity, and enhance the mind/body connection.

Many students have shared that YogaSing provided an added dimension to their performing careers by creating a new awareness of body, mind and spirit. Whatever the goal, YogaSing will provide a platform for reaching higher in your art form, and enhance your personal well being.

Since that time I have brought YogaSing and Wellness for Singers Workshops to Opera Companies, Young Artist Programs, Universities and Conferences throughout the United States and Canada including:

  • Domingo/Cafritz Young Artist Program
