YOGA ROUTINE

A forty-five minute yoga routine designed specifically for the performing artist. This combination of yoga poses energizes and stretches the body while enhancing the mind/body connection in preparation for performance or daily practice. After completing the routine, many students have described a feeling of "energized calm" in their bodies and voices.

YogaSing II: Awaken the Energy Body

Yogasing: Yoga For Singers and Performers

 

YogaSing II takes body knowledge to a new level by introducing performers to their Energy Body through the use of the Chakra System. Through Yoga and QiGong exercises, Chakras are awakened and balanced for peak performance on stage and in daily life.

Wordless Prayer: Awaken the Spiritual Body


Wordless Prayer is not directly related to singing but completes the Yoga Trilogy by taking the singer into exploration of the spiritual body. We, as singers explore the spiritual body of the characters we play and artists tend to be connected to spirit. Wordless Prayer gives exercises to bring in a complete connection to the Spirit.

The physical preparation moves gently to poses to prepare the soul for prayer
